Michelle Hawkins is Vice President of Procurement at Charter Communications located in Denver, Colorado. Michelle joined Charter in June 2012 and leads their Procurement organization with spend of $3B. Prior to Charter, she was with Nokia Siemens Networks leading their Procurement integration efforts as a result of the acquisition of Motorola’s Networks Infrastructure business. Michelle was with Motorola Inc. for 22 years where she held various global procurement leadership roles in both Direct and Indirect Procurement. Michelle holds a bachelor's degree in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University and a MBA from the University of Phoenix. Michelle also holds a Global Leadership Certificate from the American Graduate School of International Management – Thunderbird and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI. In 2010, she was a Board Member of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Michelle also was an instructor for “Leadership in Supply Management” at DePaul University as part of their continuing education program in effort to prepare participants for ISM’s CPSM certification.
