Cheryl Shelton

Cheryl Shelton is the current Director of Corporate Purchasing. Under her leadership the Corporate Purchasing team is responsible for all purchasing, sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain activities for the organization.
She has a very unique and broad background with expertise in the Supply Chain/Purchasing disciplines, as well as, IT, Project Management, Business Process Management, Business Analysis, and Solution Design.  As an Enterprise Architect with extensive supply chain, technology, and business operations experience, Cheryl has collaborated with teams to develop strategies that translate to policies that deliver effective processes that result in progress and savings. Acutely aware that strategic goals need clearly defined requirements, she has expertly lead teams in JAD sessions for the development of use cases and prototypes. She is extremely proficient in project risk analysis, issues management, and scope management necessary to deliver excellent results. Cheryl has clear understanding of integration and change management relating to systems and applications, as well as, cultural change management. Cheryl has worked as a consultant in the supply chain and IT arena for many years. She has experience in manufacturing, financial, IT, telecommunications, healthcare, education, and non-profit industries. Some of the organizations she has engaged with include: Group Health Association (one of the original US staff model HMO’s), MCI, Tektronix, Hughes Network Systems, Proxicom, TDAmeritrade, Lawson Software, and MillerCoors. Cheryl has her BA in Social Science and International Studies from SUNY@ Buffalo, received her CPP from the American Purchasing Society in 1998, she achieved her certificate in Enterprise Architecture from the EACOE in 2009, and Six Sigma Black Belt in 2014
