Carlos D. Dones is Current Head of Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement for Applied Materials, Inc.

Mr. Dones has over 19 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing Operation, Engineering, and Supply-Chain Management (SCM), both tactical and strategic SCM for both direct and indirect sourcing organizations. His prior experience also includes positions within the retail, agriculture, construction, logistics, and the non-profit industry.

Mr. Dones is currently the Head of Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement for Applied Materials, Inc. Prior to his current role he led all Indirect Sourcing Categories and Commodity Management for Large bed Machining, Contract Manufacturing, Build to Print, OEM, and After Market Seals; where he was responsible for running numerous successful global teams.

Mr. Dones has his BSEET from DeVry Institute of Technology, MBA from University of Phoenix, Master in Project Management (MPM) for New Business & New Product Development from Keller Graduate School of Management Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education Provider and his Executive Education Institute for Managerial Leadership (IML) certification from University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. He is also a Harvard Business School trained Vantage negotiator
